Ottawa, Ontario February 8, 2018 – With the assistance of the Ontario Trails Council (OTC) ,the Ontario Federation
of All-Terrain Vehicle Clubs (OFATV) is thrilled to announce that Voyageur Multi-use Trail System (VMUTS) have
voted unanimously to join and become a member club with the OFATV.
“ATVing is a great sport and recreational activity and riders are always looking for new opportunities to get out and
enjoy themselves”, said OFATV President Dave Baker, “and the membership, Board Executive and staff of the OFATV
would like to take this opportunity to welcome Voyageur Multi-Use Trail System and the trails that they bring with
them, aboard”
It was with great excitement for the OFATV team to share some of the history behind the Federations’ founding with
the VMUTS Board. The OFATV was founded in 1999 in none other than Mattawa, by then president Phil Bangs.
The original office was located in the Bangs Brothers Garage from 1999 to 2002.
The Ontario Federation of All-Terrain Vehicle Clubs is a Provincial not-for-profit advocacy organization for the
promotion of ATV Clubs, Safety Initiatives and Rider Interests.
We’d like to give specials thanks to Patrick Connor for his work with the OTC and furthering trail development around
the Province of Ontario.
