VMUTS Trails Open!

VMUTS Trails Open!

Trail Opening date and COVID-19 update

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the constantly changing updates and directives from all levels of government, the Voyageur Multi Use Trail System along with the OFATV, is hereby taking proactive measures to support any and all efforts to reduce the spread of this virus.

The Voyageur Multi Use Trail System has been working with our landowners, stakeholders, and all levels of government. We are happy to announce that VMUTS trails will open on Wednesday May 20th, 2020. Not all trails may be open right away on May 20th, but we are confident that most VMUTS trails will be open, please check www.QuadOn.ca for trail status on which trails are open – know before you go!

Riders will have to respect social distancing protocol of 2 meters as per the well-known guidelines handed down from the provincial and federal governments, and no groups larger than 5 will be permitted. Riders will have to take special precaution at parking/unloading areas to ensure provincial guidelines are not broken.

These are unprecedented times and like many other responsible organizations, we are taking all necessary steps to ensure the safety of all our members, their families, our communities, and businesses in our area.

The Voyageur Multi Use Trail System has cancelled all “in person” meetings until further notice, with the exception of online board of director conferencing meetings. The VMUTS Board of Directors have been using online conferencing since the Quarantine/Isolation orders were given in an effort to maintain business as it happens.

• Day permits will be available via OFATV later this week.
• All of our upcoming events are cancelled until further notice.
• We encourage EVERYONE to buy or renew their memberships online at www.getapermit.ofatv.org for ATV and SxS,s or https://www.vmuts.ca/product-category/permits for 4X4,s, Dirtbikes and other vehicles rather than in person at vendors.

When our trails open, please remember to ride responsibly and respect all regulations in place. We wish everyone to be safe, healthy and to enjoy another great upcoming season of riding.
